Hundreds of thousands of students across England, Wales and Northern Ireland are receiving their A-level, T-level, BTec National and other Level 3 results this morning, with grades published at 08:00 BST.
Ucas expects a record proportion of 18-year-olds to gain a place at their first-choice university. Chief executive Clare Marchant said the figures reflect strong academic performance despite the lingering impact of the pandemic on education.
Results for students in Scotland, who follow a different exam system, were released last week.
