Kathmandu — The CPN (Unified Socialist) and Bamdev Gautam-led CPN National Unity Campaign have reached an agreement to merge their parties.
On Friday, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and Bamdev Gautam signed the unification agreement.
According to Gangalal Tuladhar, Vice-Chairman of the Unified Socialist Party, the signing took place at the party’s central office in Aloknagar.
“An agreement has been signed for party unification. Further discussions on other matters will continue,” Tuladhar told national press corporation reporter.
