Kathmandu – The executive meeting of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
Mayor Balen Shah has decided to convene the executive meeting on Friday at 2 PM, confirmed Khyam Tiwari, Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 26.
“The executive meeting will be held tomorrow at 2 PM,” he said.
According to sources, Chief Administrative Officer Saroj Guragain has been asked to go on leave in order to facilitate the meeting.
“To hold the executive meeting, the Chief Administrative Officer has been asked to take leave,” the source said. “Since the Mayor himself has decided not to hold the meeting in the presence of the executive officer, the decision was made to have him on leave to bring the budget forward. He has agreed to this.”
The executive meeting had not been held since the Kathmandu Tower map approval dispute began. This meeting is happening after a gap of six months.
